Agriturismo Sweet Cottage
"This place is AMAZING! I cannot stress what a wonderful (ENGLISH SPEAKING) staff they have! I wish I had planned 2 nights here instead of just one. Wife and I on 9 city tour from north to south (Naples, Anzio, Grosseto, Genoa, Pisa, Milan, Florence, Montepulciano, Rome). Some were 2 night stays (never been there) and others were 1 night only (been there at some time in past). DON’T FORGET TO RESERVE lunch and/or dinner on property. Breakfast was included, but you pay for lunch/supper and worth every penny. You need to reserve your meal ahead for their chef. We did not even leave the property. I think maybe best meal we’ve had in Italy. If I had stayed in Grosetto two nights I would have just enjoyed Sweet Cottages the whole time! The pool was AWESOME in mid September!"
Tenuta di Poggio Cavallo
"Amazing place clean very friendly personnel"
Grand Hotel Bastiani
"The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious, the barista made the best cappuccinos! The rooms are clean and beautiful. The bathrooms are glorious, glorious. The bathtubs are deep and long, for a luxurious soak after a long day of walking in the old town. This is close to cafés and Gelateria’s. Front desk staff are kind and allowed us an hour extra checkout."
Hotel Terme Marine Leopoldo II
"The hotel is very accomodating. The hotel has everything you need, especially the pool. The beach is very close and restaurants are also nearby."
Maestrale Resort Hotel - Alberese, Grosseto
"Great overnight stay on the way to Rome. Very clean and professional staff. They had a very nice breakfast buffet."
Fattoria La Principina Hotel & Congress
"great facility but needs a general upgrade and remodeling"
Hotel Nuova Grosseto
"Perfectly good place to stay for a quick stopover in Grosseto. Steps from the train station, which was great after a hot journey. Walkable to the cute town square and many restaurants, and a good gelato place 5 minutes away."
Lola Piccolo Hotel and Apartments
"Super close to the beach, quiet and relaxing place to stay. "

- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly period to visit Grosseto is during January, February, and December, when hotel prices are lower. To fully appreciate the town's rich historical and cultural offerings, including its charming monuments and serene countryside, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. This duration allows you to explore its trendy marinas, relaxing spas, and stunning waterfalls, all while enjoying great value for money. With prices potentially dropping during these months, it's an excellent opportunity for those travelling on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals for hotels in Grosseto, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates as your travel date approaches. To remain informed about flash sales and special promotions, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re more likely to see the best options. This way, if rooms become available or prices change, you'll be the first to know, making it easier to secure a spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay at a Grosseto hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised service and may offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we'll indicate if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we might suggest more affordable dates to assist you in finding a more appealing deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Grosseto's excellent public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further afield that remains well linked. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
