Hotel New Yokosuka

Hotel New Yokosuka

10/10 Excellent
"Above and beyond. The staff was so sweet and the breakfast staff went above and beyond with my gluten allergies. Day one with language barrier and using google translation I was able to let the staff know I don't want any food with any type of sauce just to be safe. The next morning they made me special breakfast separate from the service bar. I don't eat much in Japan but having a full breakfast in the morning really helped as would fill up with fruits and vegetables through out the day. We didn't get to use the bar but did get coupons for the week and noticed they were busy and guest having fun. We got the full kitchen and room was very clean. This was our First trip to Japan and we did have a scared advent. 5.9 earthquake. We didnt know what to do or even though about a plan before hand. But at 2am the alarm in the room woke us up and we had 10-26 seconds to prepare. It was in English and we did find the folder later after as we couldn't sleep with information if an emergency happened but it said if anything escalated a staff member would come in and direct guest because of language barriers. This made us feel more safe than being at home in California as there is no preparation for hotel guest."

10/10 Excellent
"The staff were super friendly. I left my bags both before check in and after check out which freed me off to explore. Both check in and check out are done through a machine but I had a staff member helping me since most of the instructions were in Japanese. The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking at visiting Enoshima and Kamakura."

"部屋からの景色は素晴らしい。ただ、この時期は暖房しか使えず、外の気温が17度前後でも日差しが入ると室温はかなり高くなり、エアコンが使えないのはかなり厳しい。私達は窓を開け、部屋のドアまで開けたがそれでも部屋の中は暑くて、そこがかなり残念。"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Kyonan

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Kyonan is during January, February, and June, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those looking to explore the area’s key landmarks, cultural sites, and historical attractions, a stay of at least 1 to 2 days is recommended. This timeframe allows visitors to appreciate the beautiful beaches, significant monuments, and engaging museums that Kyonan has to offer, all at great value for money. With the potential for prices to drop during these months, it’s an ideal opportunity for travellers on a budget.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Kyonan, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Additionally, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to keep informed about flash sales and special promotions, so you're more likely to see opportunities for savings. The Smart Shopping feature within the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re promptly notified if rooms become available or prices drop, helping you secure a last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay at a hotel in Kyonan. For those seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and, at times, better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that may offer more affordable options, increasing the likelihood that you could save.
  4. Consider your location: Opting for accommodation near key attractions or city centres can be convenient, but it often tends to come with higher expenses. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you intend to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, which can offer a more authentic experience and are generally more likely to be affordable.
