Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kamakura Ofuna Higashiguchi
"The staff were super friendly. I left my bags both before check in and after check out which freed me off to explore. Both check in and check out are done through a machine but I had a staff member helping me since most of the instructions were in Japanese. The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking at visiting Enoshima and Kamakura."
Central Hotel Yokosuka
"Good location but kind of old building No USB port in the room."
Mercure Yokosuka
"The rooms were very clean, and the staff was absolutely AMAZING, friendly, professional, and extremely accommodating throughout our stay. Unfortunately, I missed breakfast every morning because I overslept, so I can’t personally review the breakfast. 😊 One thing I truly appreciated was how accommodating the staff was on our final day. Due to a delay with my chauffeur, they were able to extend my stay by an additional two hours, which was incredibly helpful and made our departure much less stressful. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely stay here again if needed. A big thank you to the wonderful staff for their excellent hospitality!"
Tosei Hotel Cocone Kamakura
LACER SUITES KAMAKURA
"Short walk from the station, thoughtfully designed hotel. Love the modern wooden look. Helpful staff and breakfast was great."
Hotel New Yokosuka
"Location is unbeatable. Amenities are superior than most. Delicious breakfast. Greatly appreciated the washer and dryer access. Wi-Fi was not available in the room, which was a pain. And the room was extremely small. I had to use the smaller desk to open my suitcase."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Kyonan
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Kyonan is during January, February, and June, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those looking to explore the area’s key landmarks, cultural sites, and historical attractions, a stay of at least 1 to 2 days is recommended. This timeframe allows visitors to appreciate the beautiful beaches, significant monuments, and engaging museums that Kyonan has to offer, all at great value for money. With the potential for prices to drop during these months, it’s an ideal opportunity for travellers on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Kyonan, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Additionally, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to keep informed about flash sales and special promotions, so you're more likely to see opportunities for savings. The Smart Shopping feature within the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re promptly notified if rooms become available or prices drop, helping you secure a last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay at a hotel in Kyonan. For those seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and, at times, better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that may offer more affordable options, increasing the likelihood that you could save.
- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation near key attractions or city centres can be convenient, but it often tends to come with higher expenses. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you intend to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, which can offer a more authentic experience and are generally more likely to be affordable.
