Gorgeous hotel in the most epic surrounding scenery. Cannot stress enough how wonderful all the staff were, they were so knowledgable about local wildlife and were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are gorgeous and private and very clean. The restaurant food was delicious - only thing that could be improved was if there was more choice between lunch and dinner. The manager of the hotel was also very chatty and friendly. By far the best part of our experience was getting to see a wild bull elephant wander down the river next to the hotel buildings being carefully tracked by rangers. It really was the most special experience. The hotel itself was super quiet when we visited so it was as peaceful and zen as it’s possible to get. We also did the hotel’s offering of a guided nighttime safari in the local Khao Sok National Park which was also incredible from start to finish. Cannot stress enough how much it is worth it to stay here, have recommended it to anyone who will listen! We hope to come back one day in the future!

special and peaceful. The rooms are large and comfortable, but there were quite a lot of insects inside the room, which was disturbing at times. The bedding also felt a bit dusty. Breakfast was overall good, with several options to choose from. The hotel restaurant serves lunch and dinner, but the menu is quite limited and does not change, and the food quality is average. The staff is very kind and polite, but seems inexperienced. During meals, plates were not cleared from the table, which made the dining experience less comfortable. The pool is small but nice. The dining area is very warm and there were mosquitoes and flies, which made it less pleasant to sit there. Overall, the location in nature is amazing and the hotel has great potential, but improvements in cleanliness, food service, and comfort would make the stay much better.

We had a really great stay at Lost Horizon Resort and would happily recommend it to others. Overall, we were very satisfied. The resort is new, beautiful, and well-maintained, and everything was clean throughout our stay. The pool area is lovely, and the staff were consistently very friendly and welcoming. The food deserves special mention. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection, and both the restaurant and bar served high-quality food and drinks. That said, the restaurant service could be improved. The waiters were friendly but often seemed confused and made several mistakes with orders. Fortunately, the quality of the food made up for it. We also joined two excursions. We were lucky to have Nong as our guide on the night trekking—she was fantastic and made it truly memorable. On our trip to Cheow Lan Lake, however, our guide was quite disengaged and uninterested, with very little communication or effort to enhance the experience, which was disappointing. Luckily, we switched to Nong, who completely turned the day around. All in all, a wonderful stay with just a few minor areas for improvement.

A genuinely beautiful hotel surrounded by dramatic mountains and lush greenery - so stunning that I’ll be returning next year! I genuinely want this hotel to succeed, so I’m sharing some constructive feedback that I hope management will address as the hotel matures. The biggest areas for improvement are room cleaning/maintenance, service and the restaurant. Room cleaning was surprisingly disappointing, and despite being a new hotel, my room already had several scuffs, chips and scratches which is a huge shame as these are beautiful rooms and what guests see most. Staff were kind, caring and well-intentioned, but there often seemed to be more staff than guests, but still confusion in the service at times. The restaurant prices felt a bit high for the quality, and the mandatory 10% service charge is naughty when guests have no realistic alternative options and have already paid to be there. Service could also be much more polished (even just assigning one member of staff to always serve that table would cut down much of the staff confusion). Separate drink/food/desert menu too. Would love to see a poolside drinks/food service, a small gym, a better snack selection, laundry notifications when items are ready, clearer airport transfer information and WhatsApp communication with reception. Overall, a fantastic hotel with enormous potential and I really enjoyed my stay. With a few operational improvements, it could easily become one of the standout places to stay in Khao Sok.

Det var et rigtig dejligt sted, flotte værelser, god rengøring, god service alle var virkelig søde. Det ligger lidt øde, men dog var der mulighed for at tage en smuttur igennem over floden og op til et par små spisesteder, nationalparken og en grotte. Men perfekt sted til at kunne tage på ture fra og samtidigt komme retur til god mad, en god pool og dejlige værelser. Restaurant, bar mm. er rigtig flot. Det er dog lige blevet færdigt og man kan godt se tingene lige skal vokse op og personalet lige skal falde helt til. Men vi vil helt sikkert anbefale det og komme igen når vi er på de kanter.

Het resort is net geopend en echt prachtig geworden. Alles is tot in de puntjes verzorgd en het personeel doet er alles aan om je verblijf perfect te maken. Heerlijk eten, schone kamers en midden in de natuur. De hoofdweg ligt wat verder weg, maar met een bamboevlot ben je er zo. Een dikke 10!
