Staff were great and food was amazing, we had some issues with the room, firstly noise from the air-conditioning units out side the window, but tbf we were given an upgraded room. Unfortunately we had to be moved again due to some random pipe banging in the new room, again in all fairness we were moved again to a better room. As I have said the staff were brilliant with the issues and nothing was any problem, to sort. Highly recommend the Pie and mash Amazing.

The George Townhouse was surprisingly fantastic. We loved our brief stay. The only thing we found it a little hot. If we were there for longer we’d have asked about fans but the staff were so helpful I’m sure they’d have arranged something. Definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful pub experience! Friendly check in. Amazing room appointment! Comfy beds with nice linen. Plenty of space, good storage. Lovely bathroom, powerful shower, luxurious bath,fluffy clean towels, great toiletries. Could benefit from a better hairdryer but the one provided was usable, a mirror on the other side of the room would have been helpful for getting ready (better lighting near the bath and available plug socket). Nice hospitality tray. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Also had an evening meal which was equally tasty. Great bar selection. Lots of nice seating areas including one outside.

Well positioned in the town. Impressive looking building, lovely vibe inside and gorgeous outdoor seating area. We were staying in room 12 which is very small. It was a hot night, so the room was baking, hence we had the window open but a gang of 12-15 pigeons live (noisily) just outside the window! The windowsill was covered in bird poo which was not nice. Shower great and nice to have an Nespresso machine and complimentary water. Bed and pillows too soft for me, but personal choice.
