"We stayed 3 nights. The staff were extremely helpful. Our booked room was in annexe beside kitchen conditioning units with jet engine noise levels. Obviously unacceptable. We were given alternative accommodation which was particularly pleasant and quiet. This may not always be available, so anyone booking needs to check if they expect a quiet night. Very good breakfast"

This timeframe allows visitors to appreciate the iconic castle, dine in charming restaurants, visit historical churches and the stunning cathedral, and wander through the picturesque countryside along the river. With its friendly atmosphere, Ludlow offers great value for money for those travelling on a budget.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for hotels in Ludlow, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com could help you stay updated on flash sales and exclusive promotions, ensuring you don't miss saving opportunities. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature available in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you’re more likely to see when prices drop or new rooms become available for your spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates could help you find a better deal on your stay in a Ludlow hotel. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and, at times, greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could offer more affordable options.
  4. Consider your location: Choosing accommodation closer to major attractions or city centres can provide convenience, but it often tends to be pricier. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels a bit further out, which are more likely to offer a genuine and budget-friendly experience.
