Tune Hotell Sarpsborg

8/10 Good
"The room was a good size clean and tidy, the bed was very comfy ,the on suite bathroom was a bit tight for my wife who has standing and walking issues There is onsite parking which is really good, The breakfast has room for improvement though ,the fried eggs are like rubber to eat and those sausages are not nice at all, but there is a vast array of very tasty cereal and a great selection of cold meats, cheese and fruit And they cater for dairy and gluten intolerant dietary needs that my wife has which was excellent It was very convenient for us as we were visiting a family member in Fredrikstad which is not far from the hotel and no hotel in that area offered free parking with accommodation Over all our stay was really good"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Sarpsborg

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Sarpsborg is during January, March, and December, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those looking to immerse themselves in the area's historical and cultural landmarks, a stay of at least 1 to 2 days is recommended. During this time, visitors can explore various attractions, including scenic waterfalls, historical ruins, and recreational activities like fishing and rollerskating. This makes for a great value-for-money trip, allowing you to enjoy a rich experience without breaking the bank.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Sarpsborg, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel options as your travel date approaches. Additionally, activating email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com could keep you informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you secure great savings. The Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re more likely to see the best options. This way, if rooms become available or prices drop, you’ll be promptly notified for your spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates might help you find a more economical option for your stay in a hotel in Sarpsborg. If you’re interested in a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and may sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that might help you discover a more favourable rate.
  4. Consider your location: Staying near key attractions or city centres may offer convenience but often tends to come with higher costs. For more affordable rates, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the places you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, as they can provide a more authentic and potentially budget-friendly experience.
