The Burlington Hotel

The Burlington Hotel

8/10 Good
"The room was adequate, the buffet breakfasts were excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful - my only criticism was the shower in the bathroom was antiquated. Not only was the water pressure extremely weak - the water stopped flowing when the shower spray-head was raised to head height making it impossible to wash your hair, there was no water temperature control - you had to turn on the hot and cold taps separately - but because the water pressure was so poor, the hot tap had to be fully on and if you put the cold tap slightly on to reduce the temperature, the water went stone cold. In the end , we ended up having strip washes at the hand basin. Such a shame as everything else was very good."

  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a more economical stay in a hotel in Hassocks. For those in search of something a bit different, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and sometimes offer better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you find a more attractive option.
  4. Consider your location: Opting to stay nearer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and ease of access to the places you intend to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which can provide a more authentic and usually more affordable experience.
