Radisson Blu Hotel, Larnaca

"The staff were amazing - very attentive - particularly at breakfast. Excellent breakfast choices, including non-dairy and gluten free options. The pool and the gym were very quiet - never crowded. 30 minutes walk to Finikoudes beach and great restaurants but the pool and restaurant, cafe and pool bar at the hotel were also great options. Watching the sunset from the bar on the 16th floor was beautiful."

"Excellent, modern hotel - the pool is great, included breakfast is pretty good and it's also a good, central location for getting to Larnaca or Ayia Napa / Protaras beaches. Only inconvenience is not the hotel's issue but one of ongoing roadworks that are taking forever to complete on Dhekelia Road which means you annoyingly lose some convenience since you have to take some backstreets and drive off-road to get to the hotel - hopefully that will be resolved soon."

LIV & CO SUITES & VILLAS

LIV & CO SUITES & VILLAS

8/10 Good
"The suites were very spacious and big enough for a family of four. The showers are a little small though. The balcony of the apartment was huge and with a big enough table for 6 or more. The facilities were good. Everything you could want. The whole complex is lovely and the kids loved the pools. It wasn’t full when we were there but think it would feel very busy if it was. The thing that lets it down is the outside area. The exit off the main road is uneven and not even a proper road as the buildings either side are not finished. It’s only about 25 metres but you have to drive slowly. The area of the complex is a little remote as it is on the outskirts of Oroklini. A car is a definite requirement to get around as you can’t really walk to anywhere. On the whole we had a fab time. It suited us as a family of 11 and 3 generations."

8/10 Good
"Good hotel in the center of Nikosia with nearby bigger municipal parking and good access to business and historical places of the city. Even on check in there were some misunderstands with reception trainee staff related to arranging the bill according to my company travel documents requirements, on check out everything was solved by hotel management in very professional and friendly way. Great place to have breakfast or just coffee in roof restaurant. Really good place for Nicosia where stay some time is the challenge."

Cleopatra Hotel

Cleopatra Hotel

8/10 Good
"The hotel is in a great location. The gym is rarely open. Evenings and Saturday only, closed all day on Sunday. So one of the extras you look for and pay for in a hotel is basically a waste of space! The pool in the Summer is packed, mainly children and families. It is also opened to the public for a fee from 10.0 am and on the days we stayed there was a queue every morning. So, paying hotel guests who do not get to the pool early enough struggle to get a sunbed. On the Saturday we used it, if we had been 15 minutes later, we would not have got a sunbed! It need more supervision to ensure hotel guests have priority and if adults are trying to swim, ask the children and families to leave a meter or so by the edge. I was NOT impressed. The pillows in the rooms are very low quality, small and lumpy. We asked for better pillows and was told, there are spares in the wardrobe! Yes, we had already found them and they were just as bad if not worse. It is NOT a cheap hotel and simple things like pillows are not even given a consideration for guests to get a good nights sleep. My partner and I used to stay at this hotel but stopped because it was very dilapidated and in need of upgrading. That work has been done, so we returned. The one good thing about the hotel previously was the breakfast. It was very good quality. Now, it's mediocre. Cheap sausages, not cooked. Never any fresh fried eggs, the bread was hard, no pastries. Even the teabags are very low quality now."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Nicosia

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Nicosia is during January, February, and December, when hotel prices are typically lower. To fully appreciate the city's key landmarks, cultural attractions, and historical sites, an ideal stay would last at least 2 to 3 days. During your visit, you can explore a variety of attractions, including museums, historic sites, charming cafés, vibrant theatres, and significant monuments. With plenty of opportunities for art and shopping, Nicosia offers great value for money for those on a budget, particularly when you consider that prices might drop during these months.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Nicosia, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions that could help you save. Additionally, utilise the Smart Shopping tool available via the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you make an informed choice. This way, if rooms become available or prices change, you'll be among the first to know, allowing for a spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates could help you find a more economical option for your stay in a Nicosia hotel. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and occasionally better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that may offer more budget-friendly options to assist you in finding a more attractive deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, thanks to Nicosia's excellent public transport links, you might find a more affordable independent hotel on the outskirts that is still well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
