Donnington Guest House

8/10 Good
"The property was nice, quite a walk from town, but that’s just how it is in Truro. My room was on the top floor and I had a lovely view of Truro Cathedral! While my shower was in the room, the toilet was across the hall. Not a big deal except there was a room right next to mine and I felt like I was disturbing them with early morning trip to the toilet and noisy doors. What I didn’t like was that all the outlets were at floor level, so the cord from the kettle couldn’t reach from the little table.I had to put it on the chair to brew. Also, very noisy plumbing. Overall, a nice stay. It was certainly worth the price!"

Ensure that you enable email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to keep informed about flash sales and exclusive last-minute promotions. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed decisions. By staying updated, you could be among the first to know when rooms become available or when prices drop, making it easier to secure a last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay at a Truro hotel. For those interested in unique experiences, boutique hotels might provide a more personalised service and sometimes offer better value. When booking with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative, more affordable dates to help you potentially find a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive; however, with Truro's superb public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to venture into alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
