Great location and easy communication, but small, noisy and very basic
We stayed six nights as a family with two kids. The location is good, within walking distance of Via Cavour, Spaccanapoli and Garibaldi. Communication with the owner was excellent. They replied quickly on WhatsApp and sent clear self check-in instructions, so we just picked up the keys on arrival and left them at checkout. Everything went very smoothly.
It's fine for the price, but there are several downsides worth knowing about:
- The room was smaller than it looks in the photos.
- The listing mentions a kitchen, but there was no way to cook or even boil water, just three plates and two plastic mugs. Very basic.
- There was some black mould in the shower.
- The room faces a busy roundabout with traffic all night and morning. Even with the windows and shutters closed, we were woken by traffic and shouting at 2 am and 6 am.
- The beds were very hard, and my back hurt afterwards.
Overall it's OK for the price if you mostly need a place to sleep for a few nights and you're a heavy sleeper. Personally, I wouldn't stay here again on my next trip to Naples
