The front desk staff and check in was simple and friendly.
The room was more than adequate. My basic needs for being close to the rail stop, a store, and convenience for basic need located nearby.
The room was very dated and worn. The bed linen was “mostly” clean, but I doubt I was the first one to sleep in the bed since the sheets were washed. The cleanliness, if I could call it that, was on par with staying at a college friends place for the night.
For example, the mismatch bath towels that were so stained that I wasn’t sure if it had been used to clean an auto engine first. It “smelled” clean though.
The floor and dresser top were sticky. The tub had a drain visibly clogged with someone’s hair.
So when I closed my eyes and went to sleep, I was fine. But it was not the model of cleanliness, but didn’t feel unhygienic so much. It’s just been a while since I found hesitations about a hotel/motel.
