Spata is a quiet, unspoilt village 25 minutes from the centre of Athens and 10 minutes from the beaches on the east coast. There are a handful of bars and restaurants and a good, little supermarket. It’s a good base; probably not a destination. The hosts were very friendly and attentive

It perfectly meets the purpose. If you plan to stay over night somewhere close to the airport, this place is for that. The room is huge and recently renovated. My kids loved the huge projector. Some good options near by for dining and groceries. Communication was very smooth with the host.

This is not a hotel property. I was under the assumption that I was staying at a hotel. The WiFi did not work. The lock did not work properly. It took 10 tries to get in the apartment. The apartment itself was huge. The airport transfer which is basically a cab thru an app was excellent.

Really huge apartment, huge shower area, clean, and all utilities are there in the kitchen. Small table with chairs right outside the door so you can have a glass of wine on the evening. There is a projector so you can see a movie like in a theatre, on the white wall. Very recommended apartment.

We got there late after our flight and we had access to the room via our email which was practical. But the room was more of a warehouse, not very inviting. Next to our room was a construction site and a large dog barking into the early hours, started again early in the morning. The bed was an old spring box, very uncomfortable. The towels were extremely stiff. For one night needed was more than enough, would of preferred to pay extra and stay by the airport

Great place to stay prior to your flight out or to use as a palxw to crash to grt over jet lag. Kids loved the projector for a movie to relax and the computer to play some browser based games while the other watched on the wall. Great distraction while we packed up bags before the flight out.

On the positive side, the common/bedroom, kitchen and bathroom were large. However, there were live mosquitos in the room, particularly by the "lounge area" by the window (and one in the bedroom area). The toilet was not bolted to the floor and the faucet was not attached to the sink - although they were usable. As for the shower, while large, the faucet head had holes that sprayed in different directions. The water was hot though. The bed was not fully made - the top sheet was not tucked under and the coverlet was very light. There was not a blanket in the closet area. While we appreciate the environmentally friendly air drying of the towels, they were crusty and rough. And it was just an inexpensive IKEA style curtain to separate the bedroom area from the rest of the room. Although we were able to resolve via the app within a couple of minutes, we didn't know which door to check into as there are different doors for the different rooms. So after a long day of travel we had to try a couple different doors.
