Hotel Penzance Promenade

Hotel Penzance Promenade

8/10 Good
"3/5 – Decent stay, but tight on space Overall an okay experience. The room was quite small for two people on a week-long trip — storage was limited and we genuinely struggled to find space to open and access our suitcases properly. It's also not a modern hotel, though that's probably fairly typical for the area. There's also no lift, which made carrying heavy luggage up to the room a real struggle. The hotel is right next to a main road, so it was noisy even with the windows closed. On the plus side, the staff were helpful throughout, and the chef was friendly and made a nice impression. The location is a real strength — easy access to both bus and train, so getting around Penzance and beyond was convenient. Given the price we paid, though, it didn't quite feel like it matched the value — for the cost, I'd have expected a bit more in terms of room size and amenities."

The Hotels.com app also features the Smart Shopping tool, which allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to find an option that suits your needs should rooms become available or prices drop.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Penzance hotel. For travellers seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised setting and sometimes even better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates appears to be above or below average, and if it seems higher, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a more appealing deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Penzance's excellent public transport connections, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that is still well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value for money to be found.
