Clean room, great central location. Slightly odd layout with sink not in bathroom. Could’ve done without the (frosted and cubed) glass walls to bathroom. Not ideal for privacy. No main desk for check in. Was checked in using a laptop, new one for me! Staff friendly and breakfast pretty good. The hotel is in an excellent location for all the main tourist areas and restaurants etc. Arrival at the hotel is underwhelming with a small, free standing reception desk and a soulless dining area. Some of the staff do not appear suited to the role of front of house. The decor is quirky but you get used to it and the rooms are a good size and well proportioned. Water from the shower spills beyond the shower area (but the shower is good). There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast is basic quality however there is a wide range of items including scrambled egg and bacon. Overall the hotel is satisfactory but the location is excellent.

After an inauspicious start - arrived at noon to drop bags off to find breakfast buffet/ dirty dishes not cleared away - we enjoyed our stay. Comfortable bed and good shower. Slightly quirky style of room which was very small but perfectly ok for a few days. Breakfast was standard buffet style. Good location for exploring centre of the city.
