Worst experience ever! I booked a week, checked in, confirmed payment. Then advised elevator not working. Once at rm, door already open, does not close without force, reaked of smoke, deadbolt didn't lock. Informed employee of situation, they sd they will inform maintenance before they leave (7pm currently). 2nd employee steps in and offers another rm. I accept, deadbolt works but also stinks. I told myself its just 1 night although i booked a whole wk. I began to look for another place. After 30mn i could not tolerate the smell. Called the office and asked what are the procedures to cancel my booking since i was ready to leave and never have had to do this before. They advised i could cancel and be refunded. They had already charged my card for the whole week. This is also a 1st since all places i have stayed never charge my card until check out. I was ready to go, so i checked out, they informed me of my credit, i asked for a receipt, reviewed n noticed $60 was missing. They still charged me for the whole night after only spending less then half hr in a rm and another half hour trying to check in after the 1st rm issues. And after speaking with them about this situation and confirming they would fully refund. Only to say the system automatically does it based on time of check in. At this point i was ready to go. NEVER AGAIN...AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I was able to find a last min abnb for about $45 more a week d the place smelled brand new and fully furnished luxury apt nearby.
