I am from Guam and stayed at the Guam Hilton for the New Years holiday. I was very impressed with Guam's very friendly and welcoming island culture. Just about everyone was smiling and genuinely happy to see me. There only a few that didn't acknowledge me even though I said "Hello" but maybe they were having a very bad day. We were provided with an excellent room with an ocean view, two clean beds, a wonderful view of the sunrise. The staff could not have been more accommodating. The restaurant where we ordered take-out was very nice. Breakfast was delicious and a chef prepared eggs how we wanted them. All staff were friendly. The pool area and access to the ocean were great.
