The hotel is nice and the staff are very pleasant The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. We were situated on the first floor and we found the room too noisy. Not just the usual external city center noise. There was a loud internal noise that happened periodically which we found annoying and ruined our stay

Great location
Excellent location for visiting Manchester centre . Few minute s walk from everywhere you’d like to go or a pleasant tram ride away. The room was huge but a bit Spartan. Only one chair, no proper desk or table. No socket for shaver in bathroom. Staff, like everyone else we came into contact with in Manchester, were very pleasantly helpful.

Service very slow and considering the bar was dead I'm not sure why it took so long for us to be greeted considering we are hotel guests (15 mins we were sat down). The best place to stay in Central Manchester !
What a fantastic place to stay in central Manchester ! The hotel was super comfortable, spacious and relaxed. Spotlessly clean and the breakfast had so much choice and was excellent all round. However, by far the standout part of our stay at The Alan was…….the staff. James and his team were outstanding and made is feel incredibly welcome, nothing was too much trouble and all the restaurant and bar staff were amazing too. Great job everyone!

Nice place, central location
This was a nice hotel. My room was on the 6th floor, which was nice. I liked the bathroom, had a large bathtub and magnifying mirror. The bed was comfy enough. There was a random credit card charge from the hotel though and I’m not sure what I was charged for.
