I recently stayed at Hotel J, and unfortunately, my experience was not up to par. Upon arrival, I found that the room was not in the best condition. There were noticeable issues such as missing pictures on the walls, a faulty air cooler, and a messy balcony. To their credit, the staff addressed these problems fairly quickly, which I appreciated.
However, the issues didn’t end there. One morning, the cleaners entered our room and left the door to the patio open. This was particularly concerning because the floor we were on allows access to our room from five other rooms by simply hopping over a low wall. This lack of security made us feel uneasy throughout our stay.
We also dined at Restaurant J and had a pretty awful time. The teenage staff were rude, unhelpful, and dismissive of us. It was only when a Swedish speaker joined our group that they showed any interest in being slightly warmer. This behavior was disappointing and added to the overall dissatisfaction with our stay.
While the staff did make an effort to resolve some of the problems, the overall experience left much to be desired. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously to improve the quality and safety of their accommodations.
