We came to Fairfield Inn in Aberdeen, MD to visit our son. We booked a King room. When we went to bed, we realized we got a Queen, which wasn't bad, but we didn't want to get charged for a King. The woman at the front desk said it was a "hotel king, which is smaller than a regular king". I never heard of this so when we left I googled it. Google said, "the difference between a hotel king and a regular king is a hotel king is sometimes LARGER than a regular king. Don't know why she would make something like that up. We just didn't want to get charged for the king. Other than that our stay was fine.
