"I stayed here with my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day weekend back in February. The staff was always kind and welcoming, which I really appreciated. At first glance, the room seemed fine, and the hotel overall looked good. However, it quickly became clear that the room was not properly cleaned. There was a noticeable odor in the room, which caused me to start looking around to figure out where it was coming from. When I went to the bathroom, I noticed a black container under the sink. I initially thought it belonged to the hair dryer, but it turned out to be leftover food from a previous guest. I even asked my boyfriend if he had placed it there, but he said no. That already made me uncomfortable, but it got worse at night. The first night, I felt extremely itchy while sleeping under the covers and kept waking up because of how uncomfortable it was. The following night, my boyfriend mentioned he felt the same way whenever he was under the covers. After that, I chose to sleep on top of the bed using a blanket I brought from home. I’m not the type of person who likes to complain or be a difficult guest, and the whole point of the trip was to relax, so I didn’t report it during our stay. However, these issues definitely affected our experience when getting proper rest. "
