It wasn’t just a place to stay it was an experience. It was everything a 5 star hotel should be and more - but there was also an intangible atmosphere of warmth and welcome that made our stay there so memorable

Great proper Irish 5 star hotel. Loved the way the property brings the landscape indoors by using huge windows framed in black. Not many hotels in Ireland embrace the landscape in this way. Only drawback is there is really only 1 choice for evening meal. The bar needs to offer better menu a la sister hotel The Europe.

Far enough outside Killarney for some quiet. But an easy drive in to town. Very nice grounds for walking and hotel activities. Horses are beautiful. Rims are set up well. You can tell staff takes pride in their work. Amazing dining room where the views are a great part of meals.

Our stay was exceptional, from check in ,service and atmosphere we loved it. The food cocktails and prosecco was 1st class . The kids club , swimming pool and pony riding really impressed the kids . We really didn't want to leave . I would go back in a heat beat. Marie was so professional nothing was untainable. We can't wait to return

Stay was nice, concurrent wedding reception led to some confusion but was cleared up. Did notice that extras (bar tab) incorrectly added to bill, but this too was corrected when brought up with staff.

Lovely stay in family room. Beautiful view from terrace. Only complaint was that the bedside alarm clock went off at 5:52am!! Couldn’t go back to sleep after. We didn’t set it so was annoying.
Pool was great. Also played tennis.
Fabulous breakfast.
Don’t order kids pizza - was awful. Looked shop bought.

The staff were great.they really were. Arranged kayaking and massages at the hotel for us.
Was in a rush for time and ordered the full irish but didnt come to table so had to skip it. They did send it after i went looking but wasnt a great start to the day. Rooms are very clean and very quiet with thick solid windows. Always a plus for me!
Not great signage to know where things are but staff help on this.seems like a great place to bring smaller kids .as lots to do on site for them. Only one shower after the pool and no special needs changing areas which wasnt ideal.
Overall excellent hotel and amazing staff.worth the stay.
Lovely view of the gap of dunloe. Also the view from restaurant is really relaxing while eating.
