We really enjoyed our stay at Marriott River Hotel in Savannah. The facility was modern, clean, and the staff were so helpful. The toiletries are lovely too. Great shower, comfy beds, delicious breakfast at Blue. Loved the room service option after a long day. The location is at the east end of the historic district. Still walkable, but a further walk. I highly recommend this hotel. We will be back!

For starters, this hotel smelled AMAZING! It was the first thing I noticed. The staff were so friendly, the bed was very comfortable and the location was perfect! You walk out and the river is right there. It was my first solo trip to Savannah so being able to just park my car and walk to the shops was ideal. I would absolutely recommend.

This was quite possibly the nicest stay of my life (and I'm a senior citizen). I received a free upgrade to an executive suite. The room had everything I needed and more, including a spectacular view of the riverfront, and of the hotel's own atrium. The staff were plentiful and always cheery. From covered parking to the patio by the river, this facility has a lot to offer. I hope to make it back someday.
