We had a fantastic 3 night stay here. Hotel had the perfect amount of charm and great amenities. We did the hike from the trail head on the property to Buttermilk Falls, and it did not disappoint. Friendly welcoming staff. Very clean properties spacious rooms, and wonderful housekeeping staff. A lovely bar with delicious drinks. The rooms were lovely. In addition to a well appointed bathroom, access to a comfortable robe, and luxurious bedding, the room had a settee and a wall of library books which was a lovely touch. The bar was great and had a nice selection. The communal space was welcoming and comfortable. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, breads and pastries, fruits and yogurt as well as locally brewed coffee. The grounds were lovely and you can walk to Buttermilk Falls State Park, but if you want to see the main waterfall (and potentially swim) it is about a 45 minute to a 1 hour walk each way, so something to keep in mind. We had a great time and would stay there again.

Checked into the hotel at 11pm on a Friday and the front desk staff were still very welcoming and quickly got us into our room. Very spacious room with great amenities all around. Found some hair on the bathroom floor, but besides that the room was spotless. Parking was free and ample. I always choose this hotel when booking an Ithaca trip. With the location being tucked away from the downtown area you really feel at peace.

Facility was very nice but is in some renovations. What they have renovated thus far is very nice! We met their owner in a restaurant and he is very knowledgeable about the hotel industry and is implementing some wonderful changes and improvements. Our room was very clean and service was excellent. My only Improvement I would say is the workout room as the few workout machines that they have are very antiquated and even if the facility is keeping the workout room small, they should be more updated. Otherwise our stay was wonderful! Would recommend the facility for sure!

Second time here. I understand there are new owners. The staff was super friendly but beleaguered. The breakfast offerings were terrible. Apparently the cook called out all 3 nights we were there and they did their best but it was sad. Our room needed a major upgrade. The AC was so loud it kept us up. The bed was very uncomfortable. Stained carpet. The bathroom was way past its prime. We were in a handicap room (we aren’t handicapped) right next to the elevator and near the ice machine which added to the cacophony. We did enjoy the Firelight Camping area, sitting around the campfire. Definitely would not recommend for the price.
