Yet another great stay
Stayed on top (7th) floor, room was very hot but very quiet. A short hop across the road for the Royal Exchange Theatre for our night out. Love staying at this Hotel, staff always friendly and very attentive. Breakfast is an amazing continental buffet self-service, but staff always topping up items. It's an extra cost but worth the money.

Tired hotel
Nice staff, but just a tired hotel and room, poor quality toiletries, no shampoo/conditioner, weak water pressure in the shower, I found a bug crawling over my bed sheets. Breakfast was ok and nice towels.

Decent stay in centre Manc
Overall happy with our stay, with competitive pricing given the location. Service was nice and it was good to be able to drop off our bags before checking in. Bedding was comfortable, but nothing to write home about. The bed was big though. As you’d expect, rooms were quite small which is ok but I did expect slightly more space - it was good enough to just sleep in though. The room was clean, except for the surprise toilet brush we found in the toilet upon entry and the clogged up sink.

Excellent for the Arena
The hotel/room was immaculate, well presented and in a fantastic location for shopping. A couple of little niggles though, the TV has no signal, there was only a little ledge in the bathroom to put toiletries etc on, no dressing table area in the bedroom (just the bedside table) and there was only a bathroom bin to put wet teabags in.

Great staff
Really comfortable room. Great breakfast. Lots of variety. Breakfast staff - Abigail and her colleague (didn’t catch her name) were really helpful and friendly. Very cheery and lovely meet and greet in the morning😊. Great staff. One of the receptionists also came outside with us to give us directions - again really helpful. Will definitely stay again when in Manchester.

Great location but the decor lets it down
Our stay began with a frustratingly long check-in queue that stretched all the way to the bar. The hotel has a strict policy of not allowing early check-ins, even by a minute, which only added to the delay and inconvenience. Most hotels we’ve been in check if the room is ready and allow you to go straight up. But, not here. Had another frustrating experience the following morning when one of the cleaners tried to enter the room at 10am, when I had just emerged from the shower. Thankfully we had locked the door but if not, it would’ve been awkward and embarrassing. The room itself was disappointing. It was very small, with outdated, pebble-dash walls and dark, worn carpets that could really use an upgrade. In all fairness, the space is well utilised but the decor really lets it down. The TV only offered a few working channels, and the kettle took forever to boil. Walls are also thin so heard a lot of noise throughout the night, including people enjoying each other, loudly. On a positive note, the bathroom was good, plenty of towels and mirrors (plus a full length mirror in the room), and the bed was spacious and comfortable. The best feature of this hotel is definitely its location. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Manchester Victoria and just a short stroll to the Arndale shopping center. With some room improvements, this could be a decent hotel.

The cushions on the bed had stains on which wasn’t very nice to walk into. Would also be nice if glasses were provided in the room
