Spacious, Comfortable Room. Excellent Location!
This was a very comfortable hotel for my 4-night stay in Barcelona. The room was quite large, and divided into a ‘sitting’ area and a ‘sleeping’ area. Big comfortable bed. Nice and spacious shower. I appreciated the Nespresso machine, as well as a kettle. The couch in the ‘sitting’ area did have some pretty glaring and unsightly stains, but I avoided sitting on those. Good proximity to the Ramblas and La Boqueria, and just a short walk to the cathedral or Licieu Metro station. Strangely placed above an indoor mall/shopping center, but easy enough to find. Staff were helpful and allowed me to leave my bag for a couple hours after checkout. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location to explore the cities. It’s in the alley way without an obvious sign, so I could not find the place at first, but the staff was so friendly and helpful. After calling the front desk, he came straight down to meet us and took us up to the hotel.

Overall great stay and service
My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay. It was fairly easy to find the location (they give plenty of notices about directions after booking). The staff Tanya noticed a birthday and provided complimentary Cava! Other staff also retrieved my fiancés glasses after she dropped them from the balcony onto their roof! We preferred that a gate code was required after hours as it added a layer to security.

Beautiful Hotel - Great Location
We enjoyed our stay at the Malda Suites. We were greeted by Llana, who welcomed us with sparkling wine and water upon arrival. She recommended places to eat and drink. We were literally located in the middle of a wonderful area for shopping and taking in all Gothic Quarter sites. Our only complaint was that other guests were loud while hanging out in the beautiful breakfast area of the lobby late into the evening, making it difficult to sleep (we were in Room 1, located close to this area). I would certainly visit again, but would request a room located away from this area.

Great place to stay
This hotel was great, located in the heart of the gothic district, with easy access to transportation and close to the port. The entrance to the hotel is through a shopping gallery which was a little run down but once you step off the elevator that takes you to the hotel lobby it was very nice. The staff were also polite and very helpful. Having traveled through Europe quite a bit I've found it to be hit or miss with hotels that are not well known chains. This one is definitely a great choice and would highly recommend it for couples.

An amazing hotel tucked in the heart of old Barcel
What an excellent experience! The location is great just around the corner from the Barcelona cathedral, right in the heart of the old town and close to some great restaurants. The staff were very helpful and friendly and really took care of us. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and given the location it was remarkably quiet. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we get to return to Barcelona!

Very comfortable bed. Nice size room. Very convenient location. Can walk to a lot of attractions. It is a short walking distance to public transport, train & bus and the tourist hop on hop off bus. Lots of restaurants and cafes and shopping close by. Adrian was great and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. He answered all our questions and was happy to give us ice and cold water as needed. Definitely recommended. Will stay there again.

Perfect location, great staff and styling!
Beautifully styled, spacious hotel in the heart of the gothic quarter. Staff were lovely and the suite was amazing! I’d highly recommend booking this hotel. Location was in the heart of the gothic but with good soundproofing that was not noisy inside the rooms.
