Annual pilgrimage
We make an annual trip to fox n hound. The location is great for exploring the area, staff is friendly and rooms are consistently clean. The hotel is dated but we find that’s part of the charm of the trip. Terrific views from sea side rooms.

Nice place, interesting building, great view from room. Non drinkable water in room, yellowish water from shower, no coherent explanation why.

Not as advertised - brown tap water
The room bathroom and kitchenette were not clean. The water in the room was not processed and was brown in colour. This was very off putting and we chose to forego a shower during our stay. The onsite restaurant was overpriced and the food was of average quality. I would encourage other travellers to seek alternative accommodation even if it means having to travel further afield.

Good value. Pleasant team
My comments reflect a time only a few weeks after new owners took over. It was a well appointed, spacious apartment.
The location is beautiful.
The furniture and fittings are a little tired.
I would have liked to know about the water issue - we would have brought supply to prevent the need to use so many plastic bottles.
The restaurant as comfortable and adequate, pleasant and enthusiastic staff. Limited menu if you have dietary needs.

Good place for a night. Only quibble is that the lovely water view was not accessible, needs a door outside

Room was clean, was not keen on Lino floor only because of cool weather, limited room in car park to manoeuvre car to park, meal very nice, staff friendly

We had a nice stay. The main building was not what I expected but overall it was ok. No breakfasts available which was a pain since there is not much around.

Never again...
Room view was great, food in restaurant was ordinary and overpriced.
When the food quality was mentioned to manager/owner he said, you don't know what you are talking about, he's a top quality chef...the way he said it was extremely rude. Top quality??? Not in my books, and I
am an Italian trained chef!!
