The hotel was fine and front staff helpful. Facility is a touch run down and elevator needed servicing during stay, but service happened within the hour.

Housekeeping
Lobby and environment feels like an upscale hostel for some reason but the room felt like a DoubleTree. It's pretty noisy. I couldn't hear other people talking from their room just from the hallway, but the doors slam so loud and you can hear people moving around/ moving chairs/ walking/ etc. My only real issue was that housekeeping came in while I was in there without knocking so later I put "do not disturb" on my door and housekeeping still came in (I only noticed because the light I left on intentionally since I'd be coming back while it was dark) was off and the next day when housekeeping came, they left the lights on. It just made me a little uncomfortable.

Breakfast reviews no joke!
The price was very reasonable for Brooklyn. And I realize everyone in reviews raved about the breakfast….they weren’t lying. Breakfast for this hotel was amazing.

Check in was abysmal, I felt like I was burdening the check in desk by choosing to stay at the hotel. Room was tidy but bathroom badly needed an update. Shower was a dribble.
Was it the worst thing? No, not at all. But a smile at check in and a slightly more powerful shower wouldn't kill.
