8/10 Very good

The room has a nice view and it is well decorated.

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the onsen offered both private and public options, both of which were excellent. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kusatsu Onsen town.

Good location, close to the yubatake. Hotel is modern, looks new and clean, however did find mould on the shower floor. Meals not a strong suit. Great stay overall.

The location is great, closed to the bus terminal as well as the scenic spot. The room is clean and tidy, very nice outdoor private bath on 7/F.

Beautiful hotel in the hot springs. Perfect to get away from the chaos of the city.

10/10 Exceptional

room with breakfast for my next stay at the hotel. I personally don’t appreciate “fusion” in dining options, but breakfast in authentic Japanese style was great.

The hotel is located in a quiet area yet it is walkable to the main area. There is a lot of dining option and I also like the fusion Japanese/French dinner. Tasty and elegant. The parking is also easy. We had the room with the private onsen. Love it!!

Nice onsen

New and clean hotel, and the onsen is super nice! We also tried the private onsen. They accomodated our request for double bed, thank you!

A Relaxing Stay with a Western Feel

The room was spacious, with high ceilings and large windows. We stayed for one night, and it was comfortable. The dinner was just okay, but the breakfast was delicious. The only downside is that the men's and women's onsen baths didn't switch, unlike other onsen hotels I've stayed at. This hotel has a more Western style It's not a traditional onsen ryokan. But overall was a great experience!

Lovely central and authentic modern hotel

Overall a nice authentic experience in a convenient location. Only let down by uncomfortable beds and lack of drinks available from the bar after 10pm! The authentic japenewe breakfast was beautifully presented but there were no other food options if it was not to your liking. Rooms were clean well equipped with nice bathrooms. Hotel very central and within easy reach of the main centre.

6/10 Good

The property facilities are good but the service is average and seems the staff shortage affecting the service level. Food quality is average.

2/10 Poor

The stole my money even though I had tell them in advance I had an emergency and couldn’t make it they kept my money, they will have 0 compassion over you they just want your money
Fabiola, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The dinner that we had for 2 night was superb, presentation and taste like a Michelin star restaurant. Room was spacious with a view, staff were attentive and willing to help with any requests even at night. BF box tasted good. Within walking distance from bus terminal and maybe that’s why the hotel doesn’t offer a shuttle bus service which we needed due to our large-sized luggage

People are nice and helpful. Towel in the man spa was not available in the morning.

2/10 Poor

I left a few thousand HK dollar notes on the table and checked out to Tokyo. When I remembered and checked with the hotel, they said nothing left.

Modern onsen hotel and restaurant

Room with excellent tidiness. Food in the restaurant is tasty and various. Overall it’s a decent place to stay. However, if you have driven your car to come, you may have to park a bit far (though there is a guide will lead you there and drive you back to the hotel). Secondly, there is no private onset in my room and I have booked a private onsen room. It’s just only a bath which costs a bit expensive for an hour but it’s clean and tidy. Thirdly, maybe it’s just only my room’s issue, the curtain cannot be closed, I should report it but anyway…
2-night trip

2/10 Poor

The staff were unaccommodating , dismissive, and unhelpful and lacking insight into guests needs. They were unwilling to accommodate us for breakfast because we did not book at the time of our initial reservation - despite their dining room being more than 1/2 empty and when nearly all other restaurants in town were closed because of the day of the week ( apparently most breakfast places are closed on Wednesday.) They could have made our stay terrific with the slightest effort which they were unwilling to make.
