The good: Wonderful hotel built on the best location in town. The sea views are amazing, and the short walk to amenities, hiking paths, and the town center - as well as the rooftop spa - made it so we were able to park the car and leave it for a few days (side note: free parking in a place/location like this was really nice. It was busy in town, and we came in the low season. I can only imagine trying to find a place to park in the summer!). The service staff was always very pleasant. We enjoyed the decor, and overall, we would definitely come back.
The bad: The internet went out for the entire day on our last full day. When we asked about it, we got a shoulder shrug and a "Yep, it's out," but no explanation or time to repair. It was still out when we checked out. Considering that people conduct business, go to school, or just run apps on the TV using the internet, this was not cool. At the rates paid for the hotel, one expects the Wi-Fi to work or a backup to be in place. Beyond that, the elevators are very slow and small. The breakfast is grossly over-priced. I've seen similar spreads offered gratis in lesser hotels, but here they charge €20 per person. And staying with food, the main restaurant was exceptionally bland. This is a luxury resort hotel next to the ocean in France; the food game left much to be desired, and its that much more noticeable because, again, it's France.
