A very cute hotel with a very cosy and warm room! Only downside is there wasnt quite enough room to dry out our clothes after a day out in heavy rain but we still managed! We didn’t use the hot tub (we wanted to stay dry after the day we’d had!) but it seemed popular with other guests. Breakfast was good but more fruit would have been good!

Reasonably priced well situated hotel.
Excellent location for the tourist sites. Clean, spacious and comfortable room. The lobby could do with a refresh as the building reminded us of an upscale hostel. Very good breakfast included. Too much light pollution from nearby greenhouses to view northern lights well. Would recommend for a reasonably priced well situated hotel.

Nice place only problem for me was the greenhouse right by it that lights up the sky so for good night photos I drove about 10 minutes away. Everything else like room, breakfast and hot tub was great.

This hotel had all self checkin and while convenient and interesting, it would've been nice to have someone to ask tips for the area. The rooms and amenties were just a little dated and the shower curtain touched us due to how small it was and the water got all over our floor, but totally acceptable at this price point and place to sleep. We were very bummed to learn the hot tub hours upon our late arrival having not had dinner yet. We thought they were open for most of the night when we booked. Staff at Cafe Mika told us we had to walk around on the main road and driveway to get to the wine bar in the total dark when in reality there was a cut through just past the hotel, which we found when we left. Those little tips from hotel staff would've been key.

Overall, very nice..the included buffet breakfast could be improved by adding some pastries and other options and a better coffee machine. Nice having a convenience store and gas next door as well as a very nice restaurant a short walk away (Mika’s).

This was the only place that we stayed at that actually had Icelanders working there. The breakfast was very good and the little building it was served in was extra cozy. The staff was super nice and helpful. Location of the place is great. Only thing is that the beds were a little too soft for us, but that’s just a minor thing I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is close to the attractions such as Gulfoss, Strokkur Geysir, Bruarfoss etc. There is no on-site restaurant so you have to dine at Restaurant Mika that is really close by but make sure you make reservation. There was hardly any interaction with the staff and the room was okay. The breakfast was good.

After decades of traveling in the US, I can't believe I found the best hotel in Iceland for the price I usually pay. The room is clean, spacious, and modern. Breakfast is the best out of our 11-day Iceland trip. We enjoy the Jacuzzi a lot. Staff is friendly and helpful. The nearby fish and chip is excellent, and the portion is generous. Highly recommended.
