Quite clean. Breakfast is simple but good and the host family is very kind and always available to help. Nonetheless, rooms are small and soundproofing is poor so you can hear noises from other rooms (e.g. toilets flushing, bathroom extractor fans, rushing water from the showers, etc.). Overall, we found it overpriced: during the same holiday, we stayed in 3 and 4-star hotels in the very centre of Nuremberg, Bamberg and Regensburg and they were all cheaper than this pension.
