We stayed in the two beds room - located at ground level/basement. It was noisy and you can hear noise from other rooms. The shower leaked water onto the floor - bathroom floor was wet slippery.
Despite, the location being fantastic - very central, the checkin process was very frustrating and mostly led to this bad review.
Hotels.com indicated that we would be receiving a code to enter the property (which never happened). To enter the building, you must be lucky that another hotel guest is leaving or coming in to let you in. There is also a buzzer (no instructions in the email) on how to use. Once you are let in, you checkin with the kiosk (inside building) you get the code to the building and your room- you MUST take a picture as this is NEVER emailed to you.
For further assistance, I chatted with a virtual agent from hotels.com but they only provided a phone number for the hotel. However, this number is not registered with WhatsApp- so N.A. travelers are not able to call them for help. Very frustrating.
We just travelled for two weeks in Portugal and this was by far the worst checkin process and room
