This is a beautiful restored hostel, but as the same with hostel average cleanliness is not a priority even if you are in a private room. Specialy my room had a vintage door not sealing the frame, allowing all kind of mosquitoes get in to the room, not a pleasant night!

Love the place, don’t love the lack of cleaning
I extended my stay because I really like the breakfast and the location is beautiful. But maintenance and cleaning is bad. We need to go to the reception to ask if someone can empty the toilet bins or for new toilet paper. They didn't properly clean the room since at least Tuesday. One of the locks of the shower is broken so people smash the door to close it, which is quit annoying when you’re trying to sleep or still asleep. But the shower with a functioning lock has low water pressure due of the built up chalk in the shower head. So.. The airconditioning is not clean so I've caught a cold (nasal congestion and a sore throat) after the first night. Really wished there was a possibility to open a window with all the deodrant and other spray products my roommates use.

Belle découverte
Le hostel est très joli et le concept très intéressant. Cependant les matériaux qui ont été utilisés pour la restauration du bâtiment sont de mauvaise qualité. Cela se voit que la restauration est récente pourtant. Zone bien desservie à côté du tram pour le Corcovado. Le sud de Rio est très sécurisé. À proximité il y a un café qui est l'ancienne maison de Machado de Assis grand écrivain brésilien ! Hostel propre. Le groupe de français était bruyant et n'avait pas du respect pour le personnel qui nettoyait l'extérieur et les jeunes fumaient à côté diffusant les cendres c'est dommage ! Belle équipe toujours aux petits soins

O ambiente do hotel e todos os funcionários são muito educados, atenciosos e simpáticos. A estrutura é excelente com 3 piscinas e um café da manhã perfeito. A única coisa que achei ruim, foi o ar condicionado do quarto que estava fraco mesmo estando no 16° e no banheiro poderia ter um móvel para deixar a roupa, tem espaço para umas prateleiras.

Diferenciado!
Hotel muito bom, diferenciado! Possui vários locais para foto, 2 piscinas grandes (uma delas 24h) e um excelente café da manhã. Apenas alguns detalhe sobre mofo no teto do quarto e edredom com um cheiro um pouco desagradável (talvez pelo mofo também) além de ficar um pouco longe de estabelecimentos. Pelo valor e localização, voltaria com certeza.
