    Wouldn’t return

    Very average, dated hotel. Never known a lift to be SO far from reception and it was a rabbit Warren. Felt tired, old and musky. A lady in the bar was very condescending and rude when handling a situation. However the reception staff were lovely, knowledgeable and helpful.

    The room was fine but a bit small. En-suite was good with a decent shower. Found the hotel very warm in the corridors. Breakfast was good.

    OK but not what we expected.

    The hotel was aesthetically pleasing but our experience failed to meet expectations. We checked in online, arrived around 1.30 to the Hotel to be told check in is strictly 3pm and not even checking if the room was ready. When entering the room it was very warm and we couldnt get the air con to work. There was a thick batch of hairs on one of the cushions on the bed, the kay card pouch was still on the coffee table from the stay before and after looking for a while for the remote it was under one of the duvets. Then the Chromecast they offered also didnt work. Beds were small and i wouldnt recommend them as family rooms but thats just to our taste. A nice room but attention to detail the moeny you pay dictates was lacking. We went to the bar on the first night, approximately 6 people in the bar and we stood for 15 minutes at the bar without being served or acknowledged so promptly left.

    Good hotel in a decent location. Will stay again.

    While a bit hard to find with the construction going on the hotel was nice. Comfortable and clean room and a good breakfast. Ideal location not far from Aldgate.
