Overall - Excellent
On entering the hotel I was met with a really warm reception from very personable front desk staff. The hotel lobby smelt great also. Room was lovely. Great shower and toiletries. Room compliments were generous but a little average. Perhaps the procurement team could consider a milk alternative solution as only dairy was available.

Our 3 day stay was wonderful, the room was spacious and space was well used. The bathroom was wonderful with great water pressure, plenty of room in the shower, and extra large towels. Hotel is right across from a tube station and an easy 12 minute walk to the Tower of London. My only complaint would be scratchy sheets. Overall, we would definitely recommend and return.

Hotel is nice enough, but television in room did not work, so got moved and of the three televisions in our upgraded room (fair play)none actually connected to the service and only one allowed chrome cast. Receptionists the next day seemed to think this was funny as opposed to anything that required an apology.

A great hotel but...
I stayed solo for an appointment on Monday. I arrived Sunday afternoon. Alas, the Aldgate East Tube was not open. Not the hotel's fault! I found the reception staff friendly and helpful. I found the room clean but slight signs of wear and tear starting to show. Twice on the Sunday I ordered room service. BOTH times the food arrived just below lukewarm. For a burger and a toasted sandwich to arrive like this is disappointing. Nothing says alone more than cold food in a hotel room! I also use a walking stick. On the first morning I was placed at a table beside the buffet. On my last morning I was placed at a table as far away as possible from the buffet. Since I can't use my stick when I get my food, this really wasn't very helpful. How about setting a table aside for a disabled person at breakfast? Otherwise, a great hotel!
