Perfect base for WW2 & Cold War exploration.
Perfect base from which to explore all the historical areas around Potsdam Platz and within easy walking distance of public transport links, cafés, supermarket (REWE) and restaurants. Booked a suite and it was perfect. Small but compact kitchen including a washer dryer. Large balcony overlooking the park.

Good choice for a longer stay
Fairly convenient location not too far from many attractions. Slightly odd set-up, the hotel seems to be part of an apartment complex, and the hotel reception is closed outside day-time, leaving you with the apartment building's concierge service to gain access to the building which can be a bit hit-and-miss. Useful having a washing machine and well-laid-out kitchenette

Lovely but...
Area was great, room was big, and there was an abundance of shopping opportunities close by, but the service was somewhat lacking. The cleaning personnel didn't speak English(nor German), well one of them spoke some English and the other not at all, but it made it impossible to communicate with them. The staff at the reception was great and helpful, especially the blond girl with glasses, but one of the girls had a rather bad attitude. We needed her help because we wanted to sleep in and there was no ´Don't disturb sign´ anywhere in our room, which we also informed her of and we wanted to make sure our room still got cleaned, but just at a later time the next day, but we couldn't directly tell the cleaning lady this because of her lacking language skills (we did actually try). Other than her bad attitude, she also didn't give us a new sign and she didn't inform the cleaning lady about our request either, instead the room didn't get cleaned at all. Therefore we had a dirty room and had to go down to ask for new bathtowels after arriving to our room late in the evening, luckily the blond girl with glasses was there. We will stay at the hotel again as it was a good experience all in all, but some of the staff really should work on their service skills.

Excellent new apartment in good location. Only thing I did not like was you could not control the heating in the room - it was controlled centrally - so we kept having to open the balcony door to cool it down!
