Disappointing
It was my first stay after three years since January 2020. The hotel changed a lot after the pandemic. It looked like they were one of the quarantine hotels renovated for the purpose. The walls are thinner than before so you can hear noise from the neighbours. Housekeeping staff chat loudly in the hallway, bothered too. Cleaning wasn't done properly and I see hairs in bed or bathroom. The desk and tables were dusty too. Breakfast wasn't served, while anywhere else started serving breakfast. I need to explore more options next time.

Stay Elsewhere.
The hotel was nice when we first walked in. Then it went downhill. The lady who checked us is was not very friendly. She didn’t even greet us. She just waved us over and asked for our passport. She didn’t tell us about the facilities or the check out times. When we got in the room, there was no closet. There was a rack from the ceiling with some hangers on it. This was a long haul trip so we had three luggages at the end of our bed. The washroom was absolutely filthy which is our worst nightmare. The sink and shower had so much built up brown and black soap grime and the tile grout was pinkish on the floor and lower walls. It’s so disgusting how housekeeping left it like this. Hard to even guess when proper cleaning was done. When we checked out another lady helped up but same poor experience as check in. She gave us a bill of $190NTD for phone calls I made in my room. I explained to her that none of the phone calls went through hence my multiple attempts. She didn’t even listen and just kept saying $5TWD per minute you pay. Honestly, I’m ok with paying the bill had I used the services but the busy signals should not be charged $5NTD each time. Again, poor service and poor willingness to understand a guest. There is no recycling at this hotel. Bottles and gargabe share the same bin. The malls and MRT stations had speperate bina so feclyclying mist be a practice in the country. Just not the hotel.

Good hotel, great location.
The hotel was nice and in a good location. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only issue is that there is no breakfast, not even coffee, so you have to go out and get it. For a hotel of this level, you would hope for something to be provided. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.
