Clean hotel, friendly staff, great location
I stayed here as a solo trip to L.A. and I was very happy with my choice. The hotel’s location is away from the tourist crush. Upon arrival, I was politely welcomed by Angel and Devron, at the front desk. These two were excellent and were great at recommending activities in the area. The hotel was very clean and updated. Breakfast was buffet style but the food was fresh. I did not use any of the on site amenities (i.e. restaurant, lounge, bar), since I was in town for a short time. Housekeeping came daily and were thorough. The hotel was walking distance from LACMA and as a solo traveler, felt no danger on my walk there. Those people commenting about the homeless population in L.A. should consider supporting local charities. Overall, fabulous trip and I will return soon.

I didn’t like the lack of breakfast options. Also parking was too expensive. I like the service staff, rooms and location. Maintenance needs to improve. Several instances of items not working or working improperly.

The hotel was beautiful and we loved so much about it EXCEPT the walls were so thin we could hear the TV in the next room as well as voices in adjacent rooms until 1:30am and then at 2:30 we were woken up hearing the people in the room above walking around on the wood floors. It was a terrible night sleep because of all the noise. Such a bummer, I would not stay there again.
