Attractive but a bit soulless in Seoul

Visually it’s all very attractive, generously sized rooms with an excellent bath tub incidentally. However it feels a little too orientated to Instagram material and some little details are missing. Dealing with the remote ‘Jeanie’ was an irritation, trying to work out the exact phrase to get her to turn off the lights was a real pain, a light switch would have been so much easier. Sadly she didn’t understand some of the more colourful French phrases I ended up using in my frustration. Unlike some of the reviewers I thought the bed linen was nothing exceptional, and the towelling was at best only average. The wife complained about the lack of traveller necessities such as a shower cap, though the hair drier was exceptionally good. The library is scenic but unless you require the 1935 Law Review, good for one thing - that photo opportunity. This sums up the place which somehow seems to take itself too seriously and lacks a bit of fun. The Savoury Lounge access gets you a couple of free drinks with tidbits in the bar.
