This place is accessible to stores and lots of places to eat. Very close to Bugis shopping. The only downfall is if you have kids and large luggage’s, there are flights of stairs to go up. Go in and out of the room isn’t as accessible.

OK location, but insect problems....
The location is fairly good, but not worth the price as was very cramped - better off staying in a normal hotel. The apartment has all the basic necessities, however the biggest problem was the cleanliness of the place. There was a serious ant infestation, dead and live cockroaches, spiders etc. Considering you have to pay an additional S$60 for a cleaning charge when checking in, you would hope the place is a little more....cleaner.

Excellent family apartment!
Great location with minutes walking distance to 3 MRT lines. The apartment is very clean and has everything I need. There is also a kitchen for light cooking. Many food stalls (some are 24 hours) downstairs across the road. Host is someone you can rely on - nice guy.

Walking distance to 3 MRT Lines
Mike was a great host. From the time of booking to check out, Mike was fast in responding and helpful in answering my queries. This unit is located at the heart of tyrwhitt road with many food choices around and the famous chye sheng huat coffee place. You won't go hungry! When we enter the unit, it looks exactly as the photos. The unit was well maintained, toilet was very clean and dry. Kitchen utensils were well stocked up. Washing machine is also available with enough detergents. There's a NTUC nearby about 200m away. It is just walking distance to 3 MRT lines (Downtown line/ green line/ purple line) with nearest MRT just about 7 mins walk away depending on your walking speed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Great location and nice host
The place was amazingly close to everything. There were tons of local food options nearby, literally within a minute's walk. There was also a 7/11 downstairs stocked with everything that one would need on a trip. The place is well cleaned and nicely decorated. It has almost everything I need including kitchen, washer and dryer, iron, shampoo/soap, towel, WIFI etc. There is sufficient bedding for up to 6 people and there is extra mattress in the store room. We even found highchair and baby cot for which was a plus for my kid. The pool looked extremely inviting and clean too. The spot is located in hipster central, with top notched bars and cafes across the street and on the same street. There are heaps of transportation options and we could walk to three MRT stations as well. Great location and place and a wonderful host!

Hidden costs and a lack of communication
There was not enough communication from the host's side prior to the stay to discuss the check in arrangements due to which we had a tiring unpleasant start to the stay, after a long flight. Although we were stood outside the apartment, the host did not come to get us until half an hour after our check-in time for which we were wondering what to do on the main roads standing with suitcases as no instructions had been given. The apartment is two-stories up, so we had to carry our suitcases up the narrow stairs, but then there was a lift further up to get to the apartment for which I was relieved. There is quite a long and confusing walk from the main entrance on the road to the actual apartment, and the host had not given enough directions on how to exit the properly, which also resulted in a harrowing experience with the suitcases. The other thing that was unpleasant was the $SD 60 cleaning fee which was not mentioned in the cost at the time of the booking but we had to pay on the spot. Apart from all this, the apartment was cosy, fully furnished and had good views. The bathroom and the kitchen were stocked with amenities for our use, e.g. soap, bowls, plates, pans.

A little disappointed
Nice location with adequate amenities. However, the apartment is not worth the price because it's too small. We were especially displeased with the extra on-site charge of cleaning fees of S$60 which was not mentioned in the rate on Hotels.com. And although we have paid the cleaning fees, there was no cleaning service during our stay of 3 days. We are disappointed with this stay.

The apartment is really cosy, perfect for 2 people. Mike is a wonderfull host. Just be prepared to pay 60,00 for cleaning, this is not declared in the description.
