Perfectly comfortable
A hotel with character! Rather 1970s in many ways, but overall comfortable, though breakfast was a bit disappointing (pre cooked). Normally I would not stay somewhere with such a low average of reviews, but there was nowhere else available at short notice, and in all I was pleasantly surprised.

Fantastic stay outstanding customer service
Stayed the night before travelling to Mallaig on the Jacobite train. Chose the hotel as it is front line and had onsite parking. At check in the gentleman was extremely friendly and efficient. And when he next saw us asked if everything was ok. At breakfast we had a very warm welcome and again checked that we were happy. Tasty scottish breakfast. Hotel had recently been refurbished throughout to a high quality. Would stay here again for definate. 10/10

Pleasant stay.
Initial impression is it's a really nice hotel with many period features. Bonus is it had parking for our Harleys right at the door. Very friendly staff. Breakfast nice. Right on the end of high street. We would stay again.

Not a good stay
The bathroom wasn't clean. Sweet wrapper on the bedroom floor. Bed linen and towels were dirty! Stanined! Dust on the shelf in the open wardrobe! Water was cold in the shower. Brought this to the attention of a manager, who sorted it out for us but then the water went the other way and was scolding hot! Food in the restaurant was overcooked and cold! Bar closed at 10pm for residents. Very disappointing.
