Lovely hotel - Rooms not ready on check in
We had a great stay overall for our St. Patrick’s Day city trip, however when we arrived to check in to the hotel room at 3pm (as confirmed on the booking and by staff), we were told that the two rooms booked weren’t ready for us at 3pm. We were very tight for time as we had reservations booked (which we had to reschedule for later on in the evening) and needed the rooms to get ready. We eventually were given our key cards at 3.50pm and shown to the stairs where our rooms were located. The staff member didn’t advise us of the floor our rooms were on, so we were left to locate the rooms ourselves (up two flights of stairs to the third floor with luggage). It wasn’t the greatest start to the trip as we had been travelling since 3am that day. We also were not given fresh towels throughout the two night stay. The rooms and bar were lovely and it is in a great location with lots of restaurants and bars in very close proximity.
