Excellent property with plenty of amenities to keep family busy.
Surprisingly nice stay for a great value! I loved that we had a dishwasher, microwave, mini fridge and electric stove in our room and that the amenities were just right. Christy’s ski rental was right down a stairway and beaver run was close by.
We stayed in a ground floor condo which had everything you could think if. Beautiful layout, very open and spacious. Fireplace and two-person jacuzzi tub were such a treat on snowy days. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! (A little noise from the people above, but other than that it was perfect!)
Everything was nice, clean, and welcoming. The fire place in my condo didn’t work, however, everything else was satisfying.
It was excellent very clean great location. Highly recommended. We didn’t go there to party and drink. We went there to hike and explore Breckenridge. Each evening we were very tired from all the walking and the fresh air and this place was really comfortable for us to kick back and relax and recharge our batteries. We even cook dinner one night inside and it was perfect.
A 'resort hotel' should have a later checkout than 10 am.
Great location. Warm environment. Quiet.
We stayed at a frustrating time, when the world was overrun with Cov-idiots and Corona Cowards. This meant we were unable to freely enjoy property amenities without pre-planning with reservations for the pool, hot tub, exercise room, etc. As a result we didn't really enjoy the property features. We were abruptly greeted by the front desk clerk blurting out "MASK!" when we first came in without regard to the local ordinances that masks were not enforceable if they created a medical issue, specifically difficulty breathing. When I pushed back, he claimed I was wrong and wouldn't hear of it. At the very least he could have been kinder about it rather than being the south end of a north bound donkey. Horrible first impression that left a sour pall over the place. Other staff was friendly, courteous, and helfpul. Property is a time share so if you talk to the concierge for anything, expect a pitch. Room service consisted of a bag of towels and a few other items left by the room door in a bag. We were left to do everything ourselves which is not why I pay to stay at a lodge. The rooms: -The carpet is showing heavy traffic wear. -The shower heads (two in mine) don't put out enough flow to matter. -Toiletry items like shampoo, soap, lotion are in bulk dispensers (classless!) and none exist by the bath tub. -The bed was very comfortable. -No AC but we stayed at a time when temps never got above 75 and our room faced east. Parking is underground and protected.
Beautiful property with a convenient shuttle to/from downtown. A very family friendly lodge - a bit noisy around the pool into the evening hours - only downside to our stay.
Love Grand Timber! We go to Breck every year and try to get Grand Timber each time. Pools are great...perfect location!
