Best stay I have in Ipoh
Excellent service from owner. He shared on Ipoh and even food recommendations. If not for him, I won't know where to eat especially at night. Very clean and comfortable stay with strong wifi. 3rd level for female & 2nd level for male. Located in Old Ipoh with easy access to famous coffee shops. Will definitely stay here if come to Ipoh again!

Relatively new and affordable hostel well-located in Ipoh Old Town. The bed was comfortable and the room felt incredibly spacious even though the beds were beside each other. The host, Dawson, is really a gem - I caught an overnight bus from Singapore and arrived in Ipoh at 6am. He specifically told me to contact him when I arrived so that he could let me in first and I wouldn't have to wander around when nothing else was open. Incredibly grateful to him for that simple and kind gesture. Would highly recommend this place to travellers!

Great hostel for solo female traveler
The place is very nice and in an excellent location in the old town. Each bed in the women's dorm has a USB charger and a universal plug, so no need for those fiddly adapters. The shower and the sink area is kept very clean. There are earplugs, cotton buds, floss, and cotton pads in the area. Each person gets a locker with key provided. The women's area is on a separate floor and requires a key to open making the hostel feel very secure. The only downside to this hostel is that there is no kitchen area. Fortunately breakfast can be obtained (coffee and toast) for 4 ringgit in one of the nearby shops. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Dorm is right above one of the popular cafes in town, so it's easy to get your fix of caffeine. The entrance of the hostel, is at the back of the cafe, and it's a very quaint and beautifully done walkway. This leads to Market Lane, one of the instagrammable alleys in Ipoh. Amenities in the dorm is complete, with locker, hot shower, and hairdryer. It's also right beside a hidden bar, so check that out! Check-in was smooth, although if you're late, do let them know in advance as the staff will close the cafe/counter. As the street is beside the road, car noise is pretty loud at night, but the dorms do provide free ear plugs for that. The bed is spacious, but can get stuffy without a ventilation hole.

Great Atmosphere
Central, cheap and clean. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. I will definitely come back when travelling alone. Just a stone throw away from everywhere.

Excellent staff
The highlight was definitely the staff team. They were very helpful and friendly (but not to the extend of being annoying)! I had to rush to the railway station by foot to purchase a ticket while I left my ID at the reception for check-in purposes. The staff called me and reminded me that I may need my ID for train tic purchase, he also offered to drive my ID to me if needed. The staff team were polite too! For the price, my stay was almost perfect! It's a new place, hence clean and tidy. They even provide discounted food for boarders (excellent way of adding a pleasant touch to boarders' stay)! Would be great if there's signage/welcome note to explain how things work/where things are, etc.

Good value, new guesthouse
A new guesthouse in a convenient location in the heart of the new town, close to the railway station. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Each bed is divided by curtains and has own light and electricity socket. The bed was so comfortable, new mattresses and air conditioned dorm. Hot showers and cafe downstairs.
