10/10 Exceptional

The resort is located very much of the 'beaten track' up multiply, windy, roads, well into the mountains. However, once you arrive the feeling of relaxation is amazing and the hotel team can't do enough for you. The rooms are amazing - very large and of high spec. If you are expecting a tourist hot-spot though, you'll be disappointed. There isn't anything within walking distance, and the town has two restaurants (one visited one twice as the food was amazing) and one small supermarket - so you absolutely need a car! The nearest (shingle) beach is about 20-30 mins drive. The resort is is very quiet and the resort mainly focus is hosting events (weddings and graduations) in the beautiful setting. Don't let this put you off though, as we stayed 4 days and there was an event every day, but as the resort is so large, this didn't actually cause any issues to us. There is limited on-site facilities and no pool bar/cafe for snacks. The breakfast was a bit let down - very limited choice. There are two lovely pools, with sun loungers, to choose from, and although there is a sports field, this is currently not really in use. There is also a tennis court. Overall would recommend this, due to the quite location and lovely mountain setting. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. We didn't want to leave - so I think that this says it all.
