Fully furnished apartment with kitchen and washing machines. Neighbourhood with walking distance to attractions such as La Osa y el Madroño and plaza Mayor

A previous night was in a great room 2-D. But this booking at same price took us to the basement with rumblings of underground trains frequently. The bed was comfortable but as large as the room itself so required some acrobatics to get in and out of bed. Lovely large towels and linens. Nice kitchen. The location is near train and subway stops.

The suite was a plus with a washing machine. The balcony & layout was nice.

Nice cozy apartment in a good location. Only problem is that there is no one on site to give you a key or check you out. You have to go to a different address about 15 minutes away to check in.

Apt 5A was small but had all the conveniences we appreciated most -- great windows, clean, well provisioned, comfortable and very close to both grocery stores and the Metro. Well within walking distance of major points of interest. The only disadvantages for us were that the check-in time is so late (3 PM). We arrived via taxi from the airport close to 10 AM after travelling for19 hours and although we were able to drop our luggage off at their little office it was not very close to the apt. We walked around another 4 hours waiting for the room to be ready. Also, instructions for the clothes washer/dryer, dishwasher and other things are all in Spanish ~ confusing. Only Spanish speaking chanels on TV too. But there IS a washer and dryer and it worked for us and there is an elevator in the building so you are not lugging your belongings up 5 or 6 floors. :) We could happily live there.

I didn’t like the location, noise all night long and bed bugs

The bed and sofa bed were comfortable; big tv screen; washing machine & drying rack on site were a plus.

Too small - although location is great for walking to attractions, metro and train

I was quite content once I had found the apartment. Compact, it has everything you need for a short stay, with good security and privacy. The check in process was rather inconvenient. I had to find an office to pick up the key. Although I arrived during the advertised "opening" times, the office was closed and I had to wait. The check in process was very slow. Once I had the key, I was given a rough map of where to find the actual apartment. I was told it was a "few minutes" away, which may be correct if you have a car, but in fact was about 1.5 km away. Not a good start.
