Great location and hepful staff - good for the $
Great location - walkable to most things I wanted to do. Front desk was super helpful booking a day trip out of the city. Breakfast was great and easy. Room was clean and comfortable & a comfortable bed and nice sheets. The tv had english chanels, which was a perk to keep myself entertained with jet lag. pickup and drop off at airport was arranged with the front desk an was seamless. no complains - nice stay for the price!

Very nice hotel
I was very happy with our stay. We had the suite which was roomy and well serviced. The staff was friendly and very helpful with information of the area and sites. The hotel arranged a tour guide and taxi for us at our request to see the old city and two other temples. The tour guide is a must as we learned so much about what we saw that we never would have known. The next day it was a 10 minute walk to the Garden of dreams and shopping. I loved that the hotel was centrally located yet quiet as it was off the main road. The food at the restaurant was good and eggs were made to order for breakfast!. We had stayed at a few hotels for our trip and I found this to be the most comfortable and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

"Monkey temple" we had guide bring us to top and walked down as there are a lot of stairs.
Bouda stupa. Had lunch here as well. Our guide brought us to the bouda stupa restaurant.
Old City. A must see but need a taxi. Recommend getting from hotel with guide to bring to and from as there was a lot to learn and also much easier with guide to navigate.

We primarily chose this hotel based on other reviews about it being neat and clean. And it met our expectations. We had the two suites on the top floor and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were also clean. The beds were changed daily, and the towels were replaced every day. This was nice. The food service in the restaurant is small but enough to satisfy. All food served in the restaurant was fresh and made to order, as we discovered. I highly recommend this hotel who are looking for budget accommodations.

I really enjoyed my stay at the wonderful Kumari Boutique Hotel. Firstly I was greeted warmly with a cool drink. The room was clean and spacious, the bed large and comfortable, and the bathroom had a divide between the shower area and the toilet / sink, keeping the bathroom overall dry and amenable to a global audience. The artwork was educational teaching about the various communities and cultures of Nepal. The location is central and the staff had exceptional service. The food was newari style and good. I stayed 15 nights and they served me every day and night giving me whatever I asked for whether it was rubber bands, cutlery, towels, many bottles of water. The internet was fine and the AC was too. The cleaning was regular and adjusted to my sleep schedule. Everybody had a good attitude. They did my laundry at an efficient price. At the end of my 15 day stay, they promptly provided me a 15 day letter that permitted me to do court marriage in Nepal. Pramod the owner was so helpful. He literally came to the government ward office to help me with every step of my stamps and paperwork. He also gave me a nice arrangement for a long term stay (2 months) including food.
