Booking not respected.
Will not lodge in that place again, they didn’t respect my booking and sent me to other hotel far away from that one. I chose this hotel because there was a wedding to which I was invited as a guest and because of the incompetence of this hotel I had to pay for taxi as transportation between one hotel and the other. For sure, I will not recommend this place.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and I will definitely stay again. This was my first time visiting Tampico, I came to see my girlfriends family. When I was searching hotels I did a lot of research and Gamma ended up being a great choice. The location is convenient and is close to many stores and businesses. There is a small plaza with a nice restuturaint, a place to get frappes and smoothies, a chain restaurant, a movie theater, a Walmart etc. The room service was very good as well. The check-in process was smooth and I was able to get a shuttle ride to the airport without any charge. Overall Hotel Gamma was very nice clean and modern. The rooms are accessed internally not externally! Just a heads up, Gamma is connected to Hotel Posado and shares amenities, Gamma is newly remodeled so I definitely recommend staying there. The nice thing is you get access to the restaurant on the Posado side for dining. There is also a buffet on both the Gamma side and the Posado side, I tried both and both were decent. Things I always worry about when booking a new hotel: Climate control! In a hot city like this you definitely want your own thermostat in the room which Gamma does offer. The air-conditioning also worked very well. There was always plenty of hot water and the water came out of the shower and sink with a plenty of pressure. The room I had was clean and looked new. The beds and pillows were comfortable. There was a large smart TV with cable channels and a balcony.
