This hotel is really a solid 3-star hotel, probably ranked with 4 stars due to pool and breakfast buffet. Staff is generally not very service-minded and speak little English. Service in restaurant is poor - the very nice hostess takes your order. You are then left by yourself with no one checking in, making reordering impossible. Dinner menu is good, though portions are medium sized.
Breakfast buffet is good. They have a counter cooking eggs, pancakes etc. Although it’s in English on the sign, they didn’t understand “pancake”. When pointing towards one, they gave me an old one, literally so rock hard that I could tap it on the porcelain.
The pool is okay but not heated. The advertised sun beds are not there. There was no pool staff and no towels.
The pool is surrounded by a glass fence frosted with their logo exactly in eyesight so forget about enjoying the view from the pool. Same story in the gym.
The rooms are fine for a quick stay. But sound travels and although I’m not a light sleeper, this was a lot. You hear alarms going off all the time (don’t know why), neighbors TV, etc. Rooms lacks usual amenities that come with 4-stars like lotion, variety of towel sizes, iron, and the hair dryer is tiny, not suited for long hair. Although I had “do not disturb on” the housekeeping woke me up early. I stayed 2 nights and I am happy to leave this hotel. If you like me specifically want 4-star hotels for their general level, this is NOT your hotel to stay at.
