Convenient location, clean and modern. Had problem with the air-condition in the room but they were able to resolve it remotely... cool!

Check-in is a little complicated considering you’re in transit for 18hrs and then you have to manually check in using the IPad. We just wanted to get into our room and rest. Also, checking out is at 10am... 11am would have been better.

Loved the bunk beds—they offered more space in the room as well as a feeling of privacy for me and my daughter.

Budget/Family Friendly Hotel in the Heart of Kyoto
This was a clean, hostel-like hotel with a really youthful vibe. The futons were firm and comfortable and the bathroom was spacious by Japanese standards. The room felt a little dark and small but the lobby was an inviting place to go and read or sit. The location was GREAT in terms of getting to the subway, Nishiki Market and lots of places to eat.
