I was a little hesitant making a booking with the hotel, as I have had no previous experience with the brand. The hotel looked small from the outside, but do not let the exterior fool you. Once inside, I was greeted warmly by the staff, who proceeded to check me in without delay. I headed to my room, and was very impressed with how large it was. there was a long wide corridor leading to the bedroom, and the bathroom was huge. I had the corner room so maybe that was why it was larger than usual. The bed was comfortable, and the wall mounted television could swivel to suit various viewing angles. The breakfast was also fairly decent. Overall, a great stay with Magic Hotel!

Ive stayed at many hotels in Bergen during the past 2 years and this is by far the worst experience ive had, ever. The first room i was give had a smell that i can only liken to stale sweat / restaurant extractor fat fans. It wasnt good so i asked for another.... it was the same. The room was in my opinion, grubby, the white parts surrounding the bed are variations of white. The bed sheets were thin with mini holes in places. The windows are so thin, youre not going to sleep well here if youre on the side next to the bars.. i stayed mid week and the noise continued passed 3am each night. I didnt sleep well at all. I dont understand why the hotel would put guests on that side when theyre obviously not full. The breakfast was, in my opinion, poor and pointless. If you did want anything warm such as an egg, you need to find the chef (wait for him to appear) and then wait for the food... i didnt factor this in when wanting to eat and leave for a travel connection. In all, i wouldnt recomend this hotel to anyone

Terrible rooms, small, humid and on the roof of the hotel! When going up with the elevator to the 4th floor you end up outside on the roof in the rain. There you find rooms like a motel with your door exiting outside. The rooms where humid and unable to ventilate. The wind blows straight thrue them. Also the heating does not work properly causing a to cold or extremely warm room. The bathroom has a bad drainage causing the shower to overflow every time and makes the whole bathroom floor completely flooded! And this all when you book the more expensive room!!!

Considering the price is on the low end, this is fine for a short stay. Nothing bad and nothing particularly exceeding expectations. Overall it’s totally fair experience relative to the price we paid. But the location is excellent

Do NOT take room 419. It's a torture room. There is a water leak above the ceiling which hotel stuff didn't fixed. In this room you can find out what means 'Chinesse water torture' and you CANNOT SLEEP. I informed at reception and nothing happen. I should leave this hotel.

The location was perfect, the room was a little small with a very small window which didn’t have much of a view of the scenery which was a shame. The breakfast was amazing, especially as food is quite expensive in Bergen this breakfast kept us going for most of the day.

Could have kettle in rooms Nice breakfast could have more options for vegetarians. Needs to be safer because there were junkies that would hang around the area. Lovely staff and overall great hotel and awesome location that was close to city centre with plenty to see and do. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Large rooms, very good location. Entrance strange thru a grocery shop. Breakfast ordinary. Very happy with room and umbrellas provided which is nice as rain a lot in Bergen. No safe, no fridge.
